James Lin oversees the information technology and web engineering at Forbes.com (www.forbes.com), home page for the world’s business leaders. He leads all technology initiatives and is responsible for software development, network & systems engineering, infrastructure operations, quality assurance, and business technology services.

Before joining Forbes.com, James was Head of Client Solutions at Clearbrook Financial, an investment management solutions company, where he spearheaded the development of Advisor Workstation online investment platform. Prior to that, he managed web information solutions at Merrill Lynch. He oversaw the technology development and operations of askmerrill.ml.com and led web integration initiatives in Merrill Lynch Global Private Client Group.

Previously, he served as Director of Web Development at Standard & Poor’s, where he was responsible for technology development and operations of standardandpoors.com, and total quality assurance and process reengineering of ratings information services. James holds a Ph.D. degree from MIT and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional.
